Proprietor

The creator of this site and proprietor of PlanScapes.biz is Paul Brukardt, AICP/PP. Paul has a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Planning & Design from the Rutgers University School of Landscape Architecture and a Masters Degree in Real Estate Development from the Graduate School of Architecture and Planning at Columbia University in NYC. Paul is a licensed professional planner in the State of New Jersey (PP) and is a nationally certified professional land planner by the industries professional trade association (AICP). Paul is also a licensed real estate agent in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts with Davis R. Chant Realtors. Paul specializes in estate, resort, utility and commercial property master planning and acquisitions.

Paul's experience is grass roots up. He started his career as a builder and excavator in 1979 where he learned the trades and became a qualified contractor under the Federal HUD-CDBG Program where he completed many housings rehabilitation projects in New Jersey. Then, after obtaining his environmental planning degree from Rutgers University, he became the director of planning & development for one of the fastest growing municipalities in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania before becoming a senior planner with a prominent landscape architectural and planning firm in Doylestown, PA.. With that practical municipal and private practice experience and a subsequent graduate degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, Paul rose to become a vice president of land acquisitions and forward planning for one of the largest and well known national home builders of luxury homes in the country today.

In that capacity, Paul lead the acquisition and land planning for many new housing projects and his travel took him to over a dozen states and hundreds of communities and neighborhoods nation-wide where he honed his land planning and design vision he uses today.
